These Trafalgar PC500 paddock cleaner models are the most popular of the vacs for use with a towing vehicle, although the PC500 Plus can also be pulled by hand with the Trailer Dolly.

Most commonly towed by a ride on lawn mower, small quad bike or ATV – anything with a 50mm ball or pin hitch. It also has chunky wheels to help with stability and anti-roll hitch.

Trailer Dolly

The Trafalgar PC500 Plus paddock cleaner can be pulled by hand with the Trailer Dolly.

TOP TIP

If you have no towing vehicle a good idea is to source an old ride on lawn mower which has a worn out cutting deck – this would be written off for cutting purposes but ideal for you to use. These are usually available from £100.00.

PC500 Plus Paddock Cleaner

The PC500 Plus is rugged yet lightweight in design. The hinged door and foot pedal make tipping and emptying the 360 litre non-corrosive bin an easy task.

Engines

The PC500 Plus paddock vac and the PC1000 360° Swivel (below) have a choice of engine – HONDA™ or KAWASAKI.

This model is virtually the same as the PC500 Plus apart from:

• It has the added advantage of a 360° rotating turntable which allows a larger clearing area
• It has a fully galvanised chassis with adjustable hitch height plus a jockey wheel
